ABOUT

On The Street Fire Apparatus and Equipment Sourcebook (OTS)  was created to 

keep readers informed about the latest technical innovations in the fire service community, and to present the information 

in a format that is easy to understand and easy to use.

OTS also provides a forum for readers to share opinions and experiences with each other.

Sections like NewsWire and Products in Focus keep readers up-to-date on new products in the market place and 

current events effecting the fire service. FastPoll, Techline and Sound Off create avenues for readers to dialogue with 

each other through opinion polls and short answer questions they respond to through email and the internet.

OTS also features articles written by leaders from various corners of the fire service industry 

allowing readers to share in the wisdom these experienced people have gained over the years.

Approximately 37,000 readers receive OTS, including almost every fire department in the United States.

The publication does accept submissions of articles and photographs. 

OTS reserves the right to choose whether or not to publish submissions.
